Services & Rates

We begin the process of arranging care for your pet by setting up a free consultation so we can meet you and your pet(s).

Prior to this consultation (if you have website access and a printer), you can download and print the appropriate forms that fit your needs. This will help you get a jumpstart on the process so we can focus on getting to know you and your pet(s). These forms are located on the "Download Booking Forms" page.

This consultation will provide an opportunity for us to get acquainted and get all the instructions needed for the care of your pet(s) while you are away.

If you decide to book our services, we will also pick up 2 sets of keys to your home or apartment at this time (the additional set is requested in the event it becomes necessary to provide a substitute sitter in the event of an unforeseen emergency).

Procedures of care while you are away:
Dog care:
(30 minute visit)

•	Your dog(s) are visited up to four times a day.	•	Your dog(s) will be cuddled, played with and exercised.
•	Morning visits take place between 7:00am and 10:00am.	•	Food and fresh water will be given as scheduled by the owner.
•	Afternoon visits take place between 2:00pm and 5:00pm.	•	Medications can be given as instructed by the owner.
•	Evening visits take place between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.	•	We will arrange for medical treatment if necessary under instructions of the owner.
•	Your dog(s) will be let outside on all three visits for exercise and an opportunity to potty.	•	We will clean up after dogs outside, using "clean up bags" provided by owner in designated disposal container.
•	Your dog(s) will be walked during at least one of these visits.	•	We will clean pet dishes and any unforeseen "accidents" by pets.

Cat Care:
(30 minute visit)

•	Your cat(s) are visited one to two times a day depending on owner's request.	•	Your cats' litter box will be maintained every day.
•	Your cat(s) will be visited between 10:00am and 4:00pm with one visit.	•	Your cat(s) will be played with and exercised with tender care.
•	Your cat(s) will be visited between 8:00am and Noon and between 2:00pm and 6:00pm with two visits.	•	Medications can be given at the request of the owner.
•	Exact visit times will depend on the schedule of the TenderPetCare sitter and the number of visits.	•	We will arrange for medical treatment if necessary under instructions of the owner.
•	Your cat(s) will receive food and fresh water as instructed by the owner.	•	Owners will need to provide waste disposal site for scooped litter, as well as provide fresh litter.

Pet Sitting Rates:
(30 minute visit)
$18.00 per visit 1 & 2 pets
More than 2 pets, add $2 per additional pet per visit
(aquariums, bird cages, or small animal cages each count as one pet).

*We require a minimum one daily visit for cats and two visits per day for dogs
(we will not service cats less frequently than once daily, or dogs less frequently than twice a day). We recommend three daily visits for dogs.

We are very sensitive to the needs of our clients who need midday walks for their dogs when their schedule doesn't permit them to do this. This service ensures that your dog will get the exercise it needs with lots of love.

Even if you are not leaving home, there may be instances where we can be of service. Unusual working hours, or lengthy illnesses may make it difficult to properly care for and exercise your pet. Please call to discuss how we may help.

Daily Dog Walks:
(20-25 minute walk)
$18 per walk per dog

(in households with multiple dogs that can be walked
together, add $3 for each additional dog per walk)

In the event you'd prefer to place your dog in a home while you are away, treat your dog to a trip to "camp" with us! Your dog will have 24/7 love and care. This program is not for aggressive dogs or for dogs that have not been socialized around other dogs. This program is available for dogs only. Dogs must be housebroken since this special program allows your dog to enjoy a home setting. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and spayed or neutered.

Inoculation and topical application requirements:

•	All dogs must be neutered or spayed.
•	Rabies
•	Distemper Combo
•	Corona Vaccine
•	Bordetella (recommended every 6 months)
•	Lyme (recommended)
•	Topical flea and tick preventative REQUIRED (recommend Advantage or Frontline). Flea collars are ineffective.

We recommend that you bring food that your dog regularly eats. You may supply your dog's favorite toys, bedding and crate if you wish.
(If TenderPetCare supplies the food, there is an additional charge.)

Send Your Dog To Camp:
1 dog - $34.00 / day
2 dogs - $49.00 / day

Charges begin at day (or evening) of first day.
If pet(s) is picked up before noon on last day there is 1/2 day charge for that day.
If pet(s) is not picked up until after noon, full fee is charged.

Hours for dropping off your dog at Canine Camp:
8am to 8pm.
Call to set up a drop-off time.

Pet Taxi

This service is available if you are boarding your pet at another kennel and cannot get there early enough in the day to pick up or drop off your little loved one before the facility closes. $20.00 + .40 per mile.

These services are a side benefit of pet sitting in your home:

• Bringing in the mail and paper.	• Cleaning up unforeseen "accidents".
• Adjusting draperies or lights.	• Cleaning dishes that are used for the care of the animals.
• Watering indoor plants.	• Bringing trash to and / or from the curb on trash day.
• Other minor services that the clients might request.

We are insured and bonded.

Key Return: There is a $10.00 charge for key pickup and return. If you'd like to sign up for our free "Ready Key" option (TenderPetCare retains 2 sets of keys to keep on hand for repeat visits/walks), we will not need to charge for this pickup/return service for future services.

Holiday Surcharges: There is a flat $10 surcharge (per day, not per visit) for the following holidays:
• New Year's Eve • New Year's Day • Easter • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Eve • Christmas Day
